Tuesday 31st January 2012 – Kingston, Jamaica: To mark what would be the 67th birthday of reggae icon, Bob Marley, Digicel and the Bob Marley Foundation, have come together for a second year running to honour the legend with a series of celebratory activities throughout the month of February. Kicking off the month long celebration will be a free family concert at Emancipation Park on Sunday February 5th, 2012.

After dominating reggae charts in Jamaica for much of 2011, Laza Morgan and Mavdo ended 2011 in fine style topping the Miami Top Ten Chart with the single 'One By One.' The song which continues to get multiple downloads on digital sites edged 'Live You Life' by Richie Stephens & Gentleman for the top position on the chart for 2011.

Morgan told 1170AM radio hosts Captain Kirk and Bigga Boss in Florida, "thanks for the love and support and to the fans, much respect and I look forward to your continued support in 2012."

Popular dancehall entertainer Elephant Man has been charged with grievous sexual assault and rape. The police said the charges stem from an incident at his St. Andrew home earlier this month. Investigators said a woman filed a police report claiming that the artiste, whose real name is Oneil Bryan sexually assaulted her.

Dancehall artiste Spice, has her eyes set on the international stage again, this time with the release of the single Take Him Out alongside international R&B singer, Mya.
